First of all, hello!
My name is Megan Salazar. I’m a brand new transfer student from Fullerton College and I’m really excited to start my first year at CSULB. I’m here as a history major because I love stories and cultures and history just so happens to be the study of both.
To mix things up a bit, other fun facts about me include:
1. I am only an inch and a half taller than the booster seat height limit. For those of you who don’t know, that means I’m stunted at a mere 4’10 (and a half). It’s a severe case of being vertically challenged.
2. I am a self-proclaimed foodie. I’ll eat almost anything at least once. Usually, I’ll like it.
3. I studied in London for two and a half months before transferring to The Beach.
I enrolled in History 305, in all honesty, partially because it was one of three recommended classes suggested at orientation. Luckily for me, I had already dabbled in HTML and web design in high school (but it has been a VERY long time since then so don’t expect my skills to be spectacular or anything like that). Technology has always been an interest of mine so a class named “Digital Methods in History” seemed like the kind of class that would bring my interests together.
So, there you go. Just a few things about me.
See you all tomorrow!
